ADVANCED ROCKET SCIENTISTS

Due to the popularity of "Rocket Scientists" and the large number of requests received for an advanced course, we have now designed just that - a course that will challenge students and further their technical knowledge.

"Rocket Scientists" introduced students to the fundamentals of rocket design.   "Advanced Rocket Scientists" provides the opportunity for each student to develop a more complex rocket and conduct a detailed evaluation of its performance.

We will also be exploring exactly what happens to a rocket during the various stages of its flight using a sophisticated radio telemetry system that transmits real-time data back to our launch control.

It is a pre-requisite that students must have previously attended "Rocket Scientists" and they will be expected to bring the design documentation for their original rocket with them.

	The telemetry rocket is so heavy that it takes a quadruple charge of explosives to launch it!		Real-time telemetry reception displayed and recorded on a lap-top computer
